There is something melancholy yet magnificent about a broccoli patch past its prime.
I didn’t plant those flowers in the foreground. But the corn and broccoli I planted as seeds.
Heirloom tomatoes are on the right. I was told by a gardening friend to pinch the lower leaves from the stems and transplant the starts up to a foot deep in the dirt. That worked well.
