Beets in weeds. When I find the time I will cook them and perhaps puree them (the beets, not the weeds). They are lovely rainbow colors, and taste like dirt (in a good way). Yes, those are corn stalk shadows (top right). The human stalks (lower right) have sprouted roots, apparently.
